Ahead of the release of the track on 25 March, Jedward dropped the video for their new single, ‘Good Vibes’, on 17 March, in honour of St Patrick’s Day.
A glossy, slick video with a real 90s vibe, the song opens up on gorgeous scenes in and around Los Angeles, including Santa Monica, Runyon Canyon, and bridges over the Los Angeles River, in downtown LA.
‘Good Vibes’ is a funky, feel good track, making you want to get up and dance – it’s got a real 90s boyband flavour, which isn’t surprising considering the Dublin twins honed their early singing skills lipsynching to the tunes of Backstreet Boys and ‘N Sync.

Could John and Edward be heading back to CBBC to host a science programme, in a similar vein to their previous hit show, ‘Jedward’s Big Adventure’?It seems that the Dublin duo, who are preparing for a mini tour over Easter in Ireland and the UK, are about to try their hand in the laboratory, according to the Irish Sun. It’s been reported by entertainment editor Ken Sweeney that an independent production company has approached the twins to star in the new show, which will air on the BBC later this year. Featuring John and Edward conducting science experiments in a programme designed for all the family to enjoy, the UK national broadcaster hopes to emulate the success they had with previous programme, ‘Jedward’s Big Adventure’, which ran for three series, and has been replayed a number of occasions on CBBC and BBC1. The massive publicity generated from the brothers’ appearance in the made-for-TV cult film, ‘Sharknado 3′ last year, has additionally been a factor in the Brothers Grimes being considered for the show. The Irish twins’ song, ‘Oh Hell No’, also featured in the film. A Jedward insider told The Irish Sun:
The BBC were very pleased with Jedward’s last outing for the broadcaster, ‘Jedward’s Big Adventure’, which saw the twins presenting facts about UNESCO sites around Britain. The show frequently won its slot and is still a very popular programme with viewers of all ages. The source further told The Irish Sun: It’s all down to Jedward’s affability. The producers of the show just like Jedward’s approach. They get a reaction wherever they go but are always polite and respectful. The perfect family entertainers. Earlier this week, John, from Pop's adorable duo Jedward, posted a video of himself, sleeping with pet dog, Fiji Mouse, declaring it to be the “Cutest Video To Hit The Internet”. And it has to be said, the video is pretty darn cute! Not be outdone, last night, Edward, tweeted an equally cute picture of himself with Fiji Mouse. The talented duo, who recently released their latest single Free Spirit are currently working on their fourth album, which they have entirely written and produced themselves.
You can next see John and Edward perform live in October, where they have announced three concerts, for further, see here. Dandelions. The scourge of gardeners around the world. But did you know that bees love dandelions as much as the next flower? After their winter hibernation, the bees are after protein, and dandelions, with their protein-rich pollen, are the first flower of the spring, and plentiful. True, bees need more than just dandelion pollen to survive, like any other creature, they need variety in their diet, they have to get pollen from more than just one source. But dandelions are prolific, and they are guaranteed to be there every year.
Where am I going with this? Of course I'm going to give it a Jedward application. You'll remember my article about dandelion thinking, getting out there, spreading, knowing that one day each of those seeds will settle, and, even if not flourish straight away, they will...one day. The dandelion approach isn't the only way of doing things - but it's effective and keeps things ticking over until the other flowers arrive. The dandelion (and by extension dandelion thinking) therefore has its place. Sure, some people find them irritating, but they provide a stepping stone to the next flower. And they help keep the bees alive. Just as bees need pollen from a wide variety of flowers to keep them strong, so too do we as fans need to try different approaches to support the twins. We can't all be dandelions, nor should we. But at the same time, we can't all be prize roses or a greenhouse cultivated orchid. The thing to remember is we're all in this together. The flowers need the bees, and the bees need the flowers. Everybody has a part to play. Fresh from their hit promo tour in Australia, John and Edward have got back into the swing of things by resuming rehearsals for their forthcoming panto, "Jedward in Beauty and the Beast". This is the fourth consecutive year the Dynamic Duo from Dublin have headlined the panto at the famous Olympia Theatre, and fans are coming in from all over the world to be a part of it, from as far away as Australia, Russia and Canada - as well as locals and relative locals from Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe. Check out these pics from the Twins' previous panto runs! The first year was in Cinderella, way back in 2010. The Olympia quickly realised they had a hit on their hands and so signed the Twins up for their next year's show... ..."Jedward and the Beanstalk". This show was actually recorded as being the world's fastest sold-out panto show. The Twins were now acknowledged as the drawcard, and accordingly written into the title. Last year's performance was their best so far - "Jedward and the Magic Lamp". So popular was this show that the Twins were quickly commissioned for another run, and tickets for "Jedward in Beauty and the Beast" actually went on sale before the run of "Jedward and the Magic Lamp" was over, with all tickets for rows A & B in *EVERY SHOW* sold out by the last day. Limited tickets are still available from the box office at the Olympia Theatre and from Ticketmaster - but HURRY!
In just two short weeks John and Edward will hit the stage of the Regal Theatre in Subiaco, Perth, Australia. It's a momentous occasion - not only is it the first concert of their promotional tour, but it's also the first time the Dublin duo will have performed in concert outside Europe. What can fans expect? In short - A night of entertainment. John and Edward put on a show like no other, with singing, dancing, audience interaction, and fun. The recent addition of their acoustic set gives everyone a chance to sit down and rest for a bit while listening to their beautiful harmonies. The Twins are born performers and their concerts do not disappoint. The Regal was built in 1937 and is considered to be one of the most important examples of Art Deco architecture in Western Australia. It has played host to such international icons as John Cleese, Harry Secombe, and Johnny Cash - as well as local legends such as Slim Dusty and Barry Humphries. Tickets are available from http://premier.ticketek.com.au/shows/show.aspx?sh=JEDWARD13&v=REP Two years ago tonight, this happened :) That was then. This is now. John and Edward are touring Australia 23 November to 1 December. Tickets available from Ticketek and Ticketmaster.
Surprising as it may seem, but John and Edward's hit CBBC history programme, "Jedward's Big Adventure", has never been nominated for a Children's BAFTA. Now in it's third season, the show has consistently rated highly everytime it's been screened, so it's a shame for it not to have received the recognition it deserves. This is where you come in. Type Jedward's Big Adventure (CBBC) and make sure you're aged between 7-14. That's all there is to it! The Twins have been learning facts about historic locations around the UK the past few weeks, and so far have covered a farm in Shrophsire, Bath, The Giant's Causeway, Hampton Court, Blackpool, and Stratford-upon-Avon. This series has ten episodes rather than the previous 5 of the past two series. This Sunday Jedward will be performing at the INEC Theatre in Killarney, Ireland.
