JEDWARD CHANGE DIRECTION
John and Edward Grimes (aka Jedward) visited the BBC both in Manchester and London this week, where they did a lot of interviews for both TV and radio. They were talking about their forthcoming UK tour in September (details of tickets available on their website), the change of direction they’ve taken over the past four years since the X Factor, and how these days they have a lot of creative control over their career.
This includes making music videos for all the songs on their album. Most record companies will only pay for three music videos per album, but the Twins believed every song on “Young Love” (released in June last year) deserved a music video, and so they decided to make their own. So far they have made nine videos (“Luminous” was made by Universal Ireland and the Twins have recorded, but not yet released the video for “Can’t Forget You”) for the fifteen songs on the album – not a bad effort!
