JEDWARD WOW AN INTERNATIONAL CROWD IN IRELAND
John and Edward Grimes returned to the stage after a five month hiatus with two superb concerts in Cork and Limerick this weekend.
The dynamic duo from Dublin promised something different, and that is what they gave - when for the first time ever they included an acoustic set in their performance, as well as their usual high energy numbers.
They opened in both shows with a lively rendition of Icona Pop’s “I Love It", leading into “Happens in the Dark" and “What’s Your Number?", from their latest album, “Young Love".

The audience went wild, many of whom had flown in from abroad, including the UK, but also Germany, Sweden, Finland, Italy, and as far away as the USA.
The Twins played numbers from all three of their albums, with their hit, “Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby)", and “All the Small Things" from their “Planet Jedward" album, their 2011 Eurovision hit, “Lipstick", “Everyday Superstar", “Techno Girl", and “Wow Oh Wow" (co-written by JLS’s Oritsé Williams). For the Limerick concert only they added crowd favourite, “Hold the World", “Saturday Night", and “My Miss America".
From their “Young Love" album, in addition to “Happens in the Dark" and “What’s Your Number?", they sang their 2012 Eurovision entry, “Waterline", “Luminous", “Can’t Forget You", “Cool Heroes", “School’s Out", and “Girl Like You".

It was a surprise for everyone when the stage hands brought out two stools and John’s guitar, but when the Twins sat down and started playing and singing, the crowd went wild, as they performed rousing acoustic versions of The Plain White T’s “Hey There Delilah", Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend", and the Ed Sheeran-penned, One Direction Hit, “Little Things". They also performed a fabulous cover of Irish band, The Script’s “Hall of Fame".
Additionally Jedward performed covers of “I Follow Rivers" (Lykke Li), and Westlife’s “Home", but the stand out performance of both nights had to be their cover of Enrique Iglesias’s “Hero" - something which Edward has promised fans he would sing for nearly four years now. There was not a dry eye in the house! (many thanks to 1chairmanmeow for letting Fandoms Assemble Magazine share her video).

Jedward have a UK tour coming up in September, and if they perform anything like they did this weekend, it’s bound to be something everyone will remember forever. John and Edward give more than value for money.
